Cantabile d’Eymet announces summer 2023 concerts in Castillonnès and Montbazillac: ‘A Celebration of Summer’

Cantabile d’Eymet, the Franco-Anglais mixed-voice choir announces its two summer concerts - ‘Une célebration de l’été’ - to be performed in Castillonnès and Montbazillac.

Cantabile d’Eymet has contributed to the cultural life of the Eymet area for more than 27 years.

Une célebration de l’été’ promises to be a true musical celebration of summer, where the beauty of the Auvergne will be evoked through Canteloube’s famous Songs sung by soprano Penelope Inscoe , and the intensity of Fauré in his Cantique de Jean Racine.

Cantabile d’Eymet will switch to a jazzy mood with upbeat, swinging and cool music from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story and Bob Chilcott’s Little Jazz Mass, accompanied by an Anglo-French Jazz combo.
